Jim Burklo is the pastor of the United Church of Christ in Simi Valley CA. He was the co-founder and executive director of ZOE: Progressive Christian Life on Campus. After 14 years, he retired as Senior Associate Dean of Religious and Spiritual Life at the University of Southern California in 2022. An ordained United Church of Christ minister, he has served as a pastor, campus minister, community organizer, and nonprofit executive director.   He is the author of eight books about progressive Christianity. He and his wife Roberta live in Ojai, CA. They have three children and seven grandchildren.
